The Disability Inclusion project targets to transform public spaces especially school environments, making them disability friendly for people who are abled differently.
The primary target is on primary and secondary schools to ensure improved quality of life for students living with disabilities, as well as public community spaces.
The programme aims to:
Goal
To reduce stigma and discrimination and increase acceptance of persons who are abled differently.

Children living with visual impairment and from humble backgrounds struggle in school due to inability to afford assistive tools. Change A Life has supported some through optical check ups and acquisition of eye glasses.
We met a young boy living with disabilities during one of our community engagements. For years, his own family had kept him hidden inside the house, afraid of the stigma and negative judgment from neighbors and the community. His world was limited to the confines of four walls, missing out on school, friendships, and the simple joys of childhood.
Through our disability inclusion program, we supported him to access regular physiotherapy sessions at a local Level 3 hospital.
